950 ESPN’s Mike Missanelli and Sal Paolantonio report that the Eagles will announce the signing of veteran quarterback Jeff Garcia. The 39 year old former Eagle was released by the Oakland Raiders after training camp two weeks ago. If this comes to fruition it signals the organizations complete and utter lack of confidence in 3rd year project Kevin Kolb hold the fort for a week or two.
Also word is that the Carolina Panthers have signed AJ Feeley to be their backup to replace Josh McCown who was injured by a Juqua Parker hit in yesterday afternoon’s defeat.
